One more grumpy cat and elegant geisha

I made one more Grumpy cat and made this one into a magnet tried some guild different. First glued it to cardboard to give it a cleaner look then glued it to a magnet.

I started a new project had my kids pick one from my stash. They chose Elegwnt Geisha by The Gold Collection.

My son wanted me to make him one. He chose the thread color for the balloon and the text.

Little annoyed just wrote this up and posted it and it didn't post it -_-. 

Bought this pattern on etsy from sugarstitchbyellie shop. I modified it slightly changed the balloon from red to rainbow. Used thread bought from http://threadpickerz.co.uk/ color lei. Also added the bow to the bottom of the balloon to give it a little 3D effect. Stitched this up for a friend.

Kitty tree finished

Here is my progress of the Kitty tree ornament from the last few days first here is a picture before back stitching.

Now one after back stitching which I did this morning :).

Lastly a picture of Kitty tree and Kitty stocking ornaments fully cut out. The tree originally had a yellow Pom Pom to put on the tree but I felt that was tacky and bought a yellow star button to put on it instead. Happy with my choice. 

On to my next project a grumpy cat magnet for a coworker. :)

I made a lot more progress on this then I thought I would all I have left now is the tree which is probably going to take me twice as long it has s lot of different colors in it so I'll be going slowto make sure I get it right the first time.

Fixed the scarf that I had done wrong so here is update number one on the last Kitty of the set I have been working on.

I finished the Kitty stocking a few days ago and started the next one which I messed up big time so no pictures on the Kitty with the tree until I finish unstitching the part I messed up. Yes my error was bad enough frogging doesn't help oh well.

I've finished the cross stitching  for the Kitty ornament now just need to finish the back stitching and then one more Kitty to go! Done stitching for the night though it's late and I have work tomorrow.

Ok I'm in trouble! Got an early birthday present today some had dyed thread.

So I usually buy this type of thread online some from the UK. Which can be vet expensive so I can't do it very often. Now this thread? It was bought from a family owned store in the valley. I have a store  I can drive to with hand dyed thread AND cloth! Woohoo! Need to check this place out in the future.

I got some done on my kitty just need to finish her head and a candy cane, then off to back stitching :).

I did not get that much stitching done yesterday my youngest was and still is really sick. Hit a point in the afternoon that I ended up running him to an instant care because he was showing all of the signs of an ear infection. Turned out I was right poor kid hopefully the medicine kicks on fast. Anyways here is a picture of what I did do since my last post oh and Happy New Years.
