New Project! So I started on a new project I enjoyed making the cats so much that I wanted to make more ornaments like that. :)

November 30: Newborn Heart Defect Screening Awareness Day

Was planning on doing more today because its Newborn Heart Defect Screening Awareness Day, but we all have a stoma ch bug so I'll keep this short.  If  my little ones defect had not been detected at the time I knew nothing about a  pulse ox test nor the signs to watch for a heart defect. I was so uneducated about it all. Now I am and want to spread the information to whomever I can. The following videos contain such information.

Really not much to say just made it for work. Been to busy to do much. Sick baby and trying to get my house in order will have house guests next month.

Christmas Card

OK this one was really easy! Just took me one day to stitch it up.

Caffeine kitty- finished

I know I didn't post to long ago but I just kept on working on it and its done yay!

Up next is a Christmas card!

Caffeine kitty-2

 Finally had some extra time so I sat down and worked on the caffeine kitty. As you can see I finished the back stitching. I changed the stripped color. The one they provided looked really close to the other one and so I used some floss I had on hand.

This is how it looks like at the moment I just started on the back stiching. The purple lines look a bit less strange after adding the back stitching to the top row!

I can already tell this one will not take me very long. its a present for a friend at work, her b-day isn't until December 1st but wanted to get on it and get it done! we tend to give each other silly stuff so yeah ;).

Bird Noel-Finished!!

Ok I must say I feel like this turned out really well! The first picture is the finished stitching, back stitching, crouching (that was hard!) and beading.

Next picture is after I folded it and glues it down to the cardboard.

Lastly here it is after I added the final touch to it!

And here is a preview to my next 2 projects that I somehow need to get done by the beginning of December.

It was a long week that included overtime at my job and a teething baby, so to put it mildly I did not get a lot done, still I figured I'd show my small amount of progress! My good camera's battery is also dead need to charge iit so sorry for mediocre photo!

I made this becasue of my baby boy who was born with three Congenital heart defects. for more info about him click the my heart baby tab.

CHD bookmark

Here is my newest project it is a CHD (congenital heart defect) awareness bookmark. I got the pattern from here. And just changed the colors to have it represent the ribbon colors of CHD instead of breast cancer.

So I finished stitching the last cat and am now working on cutting them out! One that's done going to move on to other projects! these will not be fully done for some time I need to put hooks on them and the hook I want isn't on sell during this time of year!

July IHSW update!

Technically my weekend isn't over I have a 4 day weekend this week yay! Anyways this is what I've done so far.
