I was hoping to have this one fully back stitched and the next one started by today but my insomnia which had been hiting me so no stitching was done on Sunday. And the backstitching was not finished all that's left is some green backstitching and beading. The beading won't happen until all six are stitched. Hard to work on the rest off them with the beads there. The thread tends to snag on them. <div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfA9M0dCfzoGTqGal9ddgWYspSLxlIJOna_RN1EOCHuscwSeg5Kevq4jHS6YpG91_hVVdE_a9xDZdZHfvhvmcaVDUcOO1rjTdECn-rEwmfOVnRRAJYiCNC9kv6ODgjGBHBiFkBzamE-Nw/s640/blogger-image-1703185475.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfA9M0dCfzoGTqGal9ddgWYspSLxlIJOna_RN1EOCHuscwSeg5Kevq4jHS6YpG91_hVVdE_a9xDZdZHfvhvmcaVDUcOO1rjTdECn-rEwmfOVnRRAJYiCNC9kv6ODgjGBHBiFkBzamE-Nw/s640/blogger-image-1703185475.jpg"></a></div>Hopefully the backstitching will be done soon and next one started.</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11061839317765745638noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971900707919955149.post-75956236342522004342016-07-11T06:32:00.001-07:002016-07-11T06:32:02.248-07:00Santa bell wreath 2First sorry my pictures aren't of the best quality no longer have great lighting. My boys broke the stand on my good one do back to using sunlight and not so great table lamp. Medical bills are to high to even contemplate buying a new one. Some day we're be out from under theses damn bills.. I hope.<div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZ88BgExQNNHlJ9QB3u127E4wuVls5zsQTNzzNY5L_l1Uijba-nu4zW8whbbH6XLhuaAEi1s8lruHyTLParVJf7rTRo5eda8N81i9uxZuRYuOsx3P5qyIZOrMFNgR7FsyK3JVnQ0F7pk/s640/blogger-image--1194216918.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZ88BgExQNNHlJ9QB3u127E4wuVls5zsQTNzzNY5L_l1Uijba-nu4zW8whbbH6XLhuaAEi1s8lruHyTLParVJf7rTRo5eda8N81i9uxZuRYuOsx3P5qyIZOrMFNgR7FsyK3JVnQ0F7pk/s640/blogger-image--1194216918.jpg"></a></div>These stich up relatively fast and I would have gotten farther but the Game ofThrones episode we were watching last night got intense and so it was put away. Probably will have this first of six done pretty fast what's left is his arm beard face and hat. Well then backstitching debating about when to bead it, after the backstitching is done or after all six are done and bead them all then. Hmm can't decide.</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11061839317765745638noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971900707919955149.post-46143198855766492312016-07-09T10:18:00.001-07:002016-07-09T10:18:29.474-07:00Santa bell wreath 1And I have a new start!<div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVqnAv7McldbTaGXs0cxitj1WuAwng2naaWNW-RRp1q-v-vfcQdESVlK0KSgMK5Eu4mYlUOnHNkZwXUWmjEDHKtRX7Ehq8SRxPkEI5_KXnC4U312OE0KX5NItm_BSXVu2s7gaygHM6Tc0/s640/blogger-image--698658795.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVqnAv7McldbTaGXs0cxitj1WuAwng2naaWNW-RRp1q-v-vfcQdESVlK0KSgMK5Eu4mYlUOnHNkZwXUWmjEDHKtRX7Ehq8SRxPkEI5_KXnC4U312OE0KX5NItm_BSXVu2s7gaygHM6Tc0/s640/blogger-image--698658795.jpg"></a></div>Does not look like much yet but it's a start! Lot of health stuff that only stitching see,s to help though I haven't stitched at all during this weekend. For details go <a href="http://sweetgeekmomma.blogspot.com/2016/05/when-it-rains-it-pours.html" target="_blank"> here.</a> First I finished Elegant Geisha about two weeks ago. <br />

Overall it came out really well. The knots in her hair took me the longest to do. I practiced for about a week before I felt comfortable enough to try it on her hair. It wasn't easy but I think they turned out OK. The original frame I bought for it I didn't like, but the second one I found out at Wal Mart of all places worked out pretty well for only 8 bucks.<br />

Lastly while I was dealing with hospital stuff for my hubby, as mentioned look at post I have linked above for details, I tried to keep myself busy by making presents for the year. I made the cross stitch item below. I found the pattern here: http://larabrown.net/crafting/bingo-dino-cross-stitching/ It was fun and not to hard to make. I will be putting this into a shadow box and adding amber with a bug in it for my bother who collects dinosaur teeth. Well that's about it for today. Hopefully I post sooner then the last time I posted, but with how the month is going I doubt it.<br />

I put the elegant geisha for a while because I joined a nerd swap so made a walking dead fan art. I bought the pattern off of etsy and I ended up putting it into a shadow box because of the size of the project.<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZVy5JI_zwEfLQYD2tdjDr16Q2CR-sptwH6Dn9iOEuLX_Rq1ynBfd-KTN3jvxo6Nl-Ir27FWSX1PfvKJrUDaSStdsq3cTovQPJL3c20C9_6I7jIc2LA_hobKKh_Cb2b8Voq9ih1XJWmFM/s640/blogger-image--446541953.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZVy5JI_zwEfLQYD2tdjDr16Q2CR-sptwH6Dn9iOEuLX_Rq1ynBfd-KTN3jvxo6Nl-Ir27FWSX1PfvKJrUDaSStdsq3cTovQPJL3c20C9_6I7jIc2LA_hobKKh_Cb2b8Voq9ih1XJWmFM/s640/blogger-image--446541953.jpg"></a></div>I actually really liked the look of it in the shadow box! Think I will do this for my geisha especially since she has French knots and a special knot in her hair. The showdown box won't crunch the knots.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>My Giesha is close to just needing to be back stitched one color left off half stitches. Those shouldn't take me to much longer, then in to the backstitching and daisy stitches! And lastly the knots. Really love how she is looking. </div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDGxv6B5LMR5EkWPuoqeuuhNgWZrFE0FtLM-fekWHxU7fwnUd23usMX_8Sv0r1wcI9arocbM6zBeAjJ3lr6Q2gdqL7bNbnCs0Qh3lPNlACWxMloBRvCqF1MuH9iT1OP0eHjP9ESdc6WUY/s640/blogger-image--1948641882.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDGxv6B5LMR5EkWPuoqeuuhNgWZrFE0FtLM-fekWHxU7fwnUd23usMX_8Sv0r1wcI9arocbM6zBeAjJ3lr6Q2gdqL7bNbnCs0Qh3lPNlACWxMloBRvCqF1MuH9iT1OP0eHjP9ESdc6WUY/s640/blogger-image--1948641882.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div>I really love cherry blossoms and the background with it yup love it. Not sure how much stitching will get done this weekend. Have a project to work on with my son, hubby is working today and need to go mother shopping tomorrow. I have never find this stitch and will be practicing it before stitching it onto this. Want to make sure I do it right. That and this crazy knot can't remember what it is called but it's like a longated French knot. Instead of wrapping the string s few times around the needle the gloss basically covers the whole needle. Definitely need to practice that one.</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11061839317765745638noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971900707919955149.post-67114664740856812182016-02-20T11:53:00.001-08:002016-02-20T11:53:28.274-08:00Heritage<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div>Last month we went through my late grandparents' sold house I order to pack everything up. I modified it slightly changed the balloon from red to rainbow. Used thread bought from <a href="http://threadpickerz.co.uk/" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">http://threadpickerz.co.uk/</a> color lei. Also added the bow to the bottom of the balloon to give it a little 3D effect. Stitched this up for a friend.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3apsH9ng1TDmHDpOM8RvMmGjSrl6zalGLdER-8pv_n9vWHt3s_ytDyKMGW6tgSmIOnaBMdMeIMGSjzGPbaYpqTm3tmxfXviwZNkrw-kQaO84-_hOHb34aXY9Bazgb7Ey1UJPqP-AEKTE/s640/blogger-image--510868106.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3apsH9ng1TDmHDpOM8RvMmGjSrl6zalGLdER-8pv_n9vWHt3s_ytDyKMGW6tgSmIOnaBMdMeIMGSjzGPbaYpqTm3tmxfXviwZNkrw-kQaO84-_hOHb34aXY9Bazgb7Ey1UJPqP-AEKTE/s640/blogger-image--510868106.jpg"></a></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11061839317765745638noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7971900707919955149.post-9495054109503609352016-01-24T13:54:00.001-08:002016-01-24T13:54:41.763-08:00Kitty tree finished<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Here is my progress of the Kitty tree ornament from the last few days first here is a picture before back stitching.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3m3_HQcga4k6vxTcOOew1Ph0lT0pyxj2cWUsdgw-Ly5FUQC2QPqr0SilHP9DHUj2cfnQDkdqkp8d1fsOkDJKYEt0clT8EWY31XVKCmIjGWYdY9Ji_plpAI3cSnMvn27CFjQaW-zJSxTk/s640/blogger-image-1789754970.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3m3_HQcga4k6vxTcOOew1Ph0lT0pyxj2cWUsdgw-Ly5FUQC2QPqr0SilHP9DHUj2cfnQDkdqkp8d1fsOkDJKYEt0clT8EWY31XVKCmIjGWYdY9Ji_plpAI3cSnMvn27CFjQaW-zJSxTk/s640/blogger-image-1789754970.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Now one after back stitching which I did this morning :).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPO1WU9PcpW7iCrWt51gFXXXlHWw7sbYKFZiHhKmnRSou9txt8AsJHXsEj_t50-kIvU9ioccGEcAWUIiumF-HFxXcoseRexMNl_xcD1tdezQr8wWEIGJWpAwMvd5N-A9mkiL3Q1neghB0/s640/blogger-image-498259088.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPO1WU9PcpW7iCrWt51gFXXXlHWw7sbYKFZiHhKmnRSou9txt8AsJHXsEj_t50-kIvU9ioccGEcAWUIiumF-HFxXcoseRexMNl_xcD1tdezQr8wWEIGJWpAwMvd5N-A9mkiL3Q1neghB0/s640/blogger-image-498259088.jpg"></a></div>Lastly a picture of Kitty tree and Kitty stocking ornaments fully cut out.
